Join our bustling distribution center in Dallas, Texas, as an Order Picker! This role is critical for fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for picking products from warehouse shelves according to order slips, ensuring items are accurately scanned and staged for shipment. This is a physically active role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to meeting performance targets within a logistics environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on customer orders.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and confirm picked items.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Stage picked orders in the designated shipping areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety regulations and guidelines.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages immediately.
- Participate in regular inventory counts.
- Lift and move products as required, following proper Lifting techniques.
- Wear all required PPE, including safety vests and footwear.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and order details accurately.
- Proficiency with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and frequent Lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to Safety and efficient work practices.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Team player mentality with good communication skills.
