We are seeking a motivated Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Detroit, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking products for customer orders, ensuring all items are correctly identified and staged for packing and shipment. This position is integral to our fulfillment process and requires a keen eye for detail and efficiency. You will contribute to the seamless operation of our Logistics center, adhering to all Safety protocols and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items in the designated area for packing and shipment.
- Operate picking equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or product quality.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, including replenishment and cycle counts.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent movement and moderate Lifting (up to 35 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand order sheets and product labels.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of basic Logistics principles.
- Commitment to Safety and following instructions.
- Must be reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
