Join our bustling warehouse in Orlando, Florida, as a Material Handler! This position is fundamental to the smooth operation of our logistics and distribution center. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, organizing, and managing inventory throughout the warehouse. Your efficiency and diligence in handling materials will directly impact our ability to fulfill orders accurately and on time. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas using appropriate equipment.
- Organize and stack inventory efficiently and safely.
- Pick and stage materials for production or shipping orders.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Adhere to all company Safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating various warehouse equipment.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring consistent Lifting (up to 60 lbs).
- Must wear required PPE, including safety vest and steel-toed boots.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of basic logistics principles is beneficial.
