We are looking for a diligent Order Picker to join our bustling warehouse operations in Miami, Florida. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our logistics process, ensuring that orders are picked correctly and prepared for shipment in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret pick lists or use RF scanners to locate and retrieve products from warehouse storage.
- Accurately pick specified quantities of items for customer orders.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping area using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jack, cart).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Report any damaged products or discrepancies to a supervisor immediately.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
- Support overall logistics and warehouse efficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse/logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Capacity for lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the use of PPE.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- A reliable and punctual work ethic.
