You will be responsible for efficiently locating and retrieving products from our warehouse shelves based on specific customer orders. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify item numbers, descriptions, and quantities against order requirements.
- Inspect items for damage prior to preparing them for shipment.
- Package orders appropriately to prevent damage during transit.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other lifting equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with all safety guidelines.
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any stock inaccuracies, damaged goods, or potential safety hazards to management immediately.
- Meet or exceed individual and team productivity targets.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient warehouse operations and timely order dispatch.
Qualifications:
We are seeking individuals with excellent attention to detail, the ability to work quickly and accurately, and the stamina to stand and walk for extended periods. Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse picking role is a strong asset. Candidates must be physically capable of performing tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 45 lbs. A strong commitment to safety standards and the correct usage of PPE is required. Familiarity with logistics operations is beneficial. Reliability and punctuality are key attributes.
