As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating and retrieving specified items from warehouse shelves, verifying their accuracy, and preparing them for shipment. Your efficiency and attention to detail directly impact our customer satisfaction and the smooth functioning of our Logistics department. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or RF scanning devices.
- Locate products within the warehouse efficiently.
- Verify product identification and quantity to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
- Report any discrepancies, damaged goods, or safety concerns to a supervisor immediately.
- Meet or exceed productivity targets for order picking.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned, supporting overall Logistics flow.
- Follow inventory control procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners is a plus.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to perform regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Dedication to workplace Safety and the consistent use of PPE .
- Understanding of basic warehouse Logistics principles.
