Join our dynamic logistics team as an Order Picker in Baltimore, Maryland! This role is essential for ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for navigating our warehouse to accurately locate and retrieve specified products. Your efficiency and attention to detail directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall success of our distribution operations. We are seeking individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment. You will utilize scanning technology and operate basic warehouse equipment. - Accurately picking items from warehouse locations according to order lists or scanner instructions.
- Verifying product information (SKU, quantity, description) to ensure order accuracy.
- Using manual equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers to retrieve items.
- Packing items carefully and securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Placing picked items onto designated carts or pallets for transport.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area and personal workspace.
- Assisting with inventory cycle counts and stock checks as required.
- Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Reporting any stock discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to a supervisor.
- Collaborating with colleagues to meet daily picking targets and operational goals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order pick tickets and product labels.
- Capacity to lift and maneuver items up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
