We are seeking a motivated and reliable Fulfillment Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in San Francisco, California. This role is critical to our supply chain operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer orders. The Fulfillment Associate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, utilizing modern technology and equipment to meet performance goals. - Accurately picking items for customer orders using hand-held scanners and other devices.
- Packing orders securely and efficiently, ensuring items are protected during transit.
- Labeling packages and preparing them for shipment according to company standards.
- Receiving and stocking incoming inventory, verifying counts and quality.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Operating warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided for qualified candidates).
- Participating in inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and quality.
- Willingness to perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or fulfillment experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
