Role Overview
Vivalink is looking for a versatile Full Stack Developer or Architect to join our Biometrics
Data Platform team. This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of product
innovation and technical execution. You will design and develop the platform to ensure
architectural vision is translated into robust and scalable code. You will be the primary
technical point of contact for customer-facing inquiries and the "lead investigator" for complex system debugging.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Design & Development: Lead the full software development lifecycle,
from design to hands-on implementation, ensuring high-performance and scalable solutions.
Product Strategy & Customer Success: Partner closely with the Product team to
translate complex customer requirements into technical specifications. Actively address technical inquiries to ensure client needs are met with precision.
Quality Excellence: Collaborate with the QA team to establish rigorous testing protocols, identifying potential bottlenecks and ensuring all deliverables meet the highest standards of reliability.
Cross-Border Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering teams in China to co-develop features, streamline implementation processes, and drive continuous product improvement through global knowledge sharing.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in software engineering, with
a strong emphasis on distributed systems and mobile-to-cloud integration. You should
have spent the last 3+ years working as a Senior or Lead Developer, preferably in an
environment where you managed the technical hand-off between product
requirements and engineering execution. Deep, hands-on experience with Flutter and
Go is essential for success in this role from Day 1.
1. Mobile & Frontend
Flutter & Dart: Expert-level UI development, state management (Riverpod or BLoC), and experience with platform channels.
Kotlin: Proficiency in Android native modules and background services—specifically for BLE/sensor integration (vital for ECG data).
React.js: Strong grasp of hooks, component architecture, and state management.
Tailwind CSS: Ability to build responsive, utility-first designs quickly.
2. Backend & Data
Go (Golang): Deep experience with the Gin framework, REST API design, and middleware.
Python: Proficient with FastAPI, including async patterns and Pydantic models.
ORM/Query Tools: Advanced use of GORM for Go and SQL optimization.
Databases:
o PostgreSQL: Schema design and transaction management.
o ClickHouse: Experience with columnar storage and time-series data modeling.
o Redis: Implementing caching patterns and Pub/Sub.
3. Infrastructure & Analytics
Apache Superset: Ability to configure datasets and create complex dashboards.
Containerization: Mastery of Docker and Docker Compose for environment parity.
CI/CD: Familiarity with GitHub Actions and Flutter build pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
Experience with Time-series data modeling specifically for medical or biometric signals (ECG, Heart Rate).
Knowledge of Kafka or other message queues for event-driven architecture.
Experience with gRPC for efficient service-to-service communication.
Bilingual capabilities (Mandarin) are a significant plus, given the collaboration
with the China engineering team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $140,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
