A leading company in the genomic diagnostics space is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of integration solutions for their EHR (Electronic Health Record) interconnect service, enabling seamless electronic ordering and result delivery between the diagnostics platform and external electronic health record systems. This person will work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure integrations are technically sound and strategically aligned with hospital workflows. This person will also work alongside sales teams and assist in presenting clinical data to external clients. Skills and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture, integration engineering, or software development Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards, especially FHIR Experience designing and integrating APIs, data pipelines, and workflows for healthcare systems Familiarity with EHR platforms (Epic preferred) Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript Basic understanding of networking, REST APIs, and cybersecurity Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) Excellent communication and public speaking skills Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support sales efforts with technical and clinical data Experience with Epic Aura or other EHR systems like Athena Health Prior work in diagnostics, healthcare IT, or SaaS environments Exposure to FHIR-based order and result workflows Familiarity with HIPAA and other healthcare data regulations
