Job Summary:
The Applications Engineer Intern will act as the technical expert to customers, distributors, agencies and Toshiba Sales involving the design, application and performance of Toshiba Industrial products.
Responsibilities:
Gain engineering experience by providing detailed technology support to customers, distributors, agencies and Toshiba Sales. Provides technical support and product trouble-shooting to customers. Work directly with other engineers and professionals in a team environment and see how Toshiba's engineers work together to deliver success. Develop your skills under the supervision and guidance of experienced professionals. Ability to work with student around college class schedule within standard business hours. Training provided in Houston, TX. visitors in a welcoming and professional manner Verifying visitor IDs for security checks Answer and address incoming phone calls Reception area maintenance Welcome display updates for visitors Maintain executive conference. Restock supplies as needed Requirements
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
Current enrollment in Electrical Engineer, Computer Engineering or Computer Science program at an accredited college or university.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Ability to work 40hrs per week at our office located in Northwest Houston, TX. Must be a team player and able to work in a culturally diverse environment. Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) experience. Copilot experience. Programming experience is a plus. Computer science or electrical engineering degree preferred.
