Controlling Manager - Construction (M/F)

To support the development and structuring of one of our companies in Germany, we are looking for our:

Controlling Manager – Construction (M/F)
Civil Engineering / Infrastructure Installation / Telecommunications

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will manage a small team. Your scope covers one Group entity in Germany, with a revenue of approximately €100 Million.

You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data, including in-depth analysis of inventory and fixed assets.
• Performing monthly bank reconciliations, preparing cash flow reports, developing cash flow forecasts, and identifying cash optimization opportunities.
• Leading the preparation and coordination of monthly and annual financial closings, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Acting as the main point of contact for external auditors and coordinating audit processes.
• Preparing the annual budget, driving financial planning and forecasting activities, and analyzing monthly variances against budget and forecasts.
• Reviewing and analyzing monthly financial statements and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Leading, structuring, and organizing the company's Controlling department to ensure efficiency and high performance, and with a particular focus on improving the current processes

You hold a Master's degree (5-year higher education) in Finance, which has provided you with strong financial and accounting fundamentals. You have at least 15 years of experience in a similar position within a company with a comparable level of revenue to ours. Knowledge of the construction / public works sector would be considered an asset. You have strong proficiency in Excel and financial and accounting tools (Macros, VBA, Power Query, Power BI, Business Central etc.), enabling you in particular to automate processes and reporting. Throughout your professional experience, you have developed solid managerial expertise, allowing you to further structure and grow the team under your responsibility. You know how to combine high standards with a supportive and coaching approach. Your methodological rigor enables you to strengthen and enhance our internal processes.
