Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, selecting appropriate packing materials.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- Meet daily picking and packing quotas while maintaining high quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Must be able to handle frequent lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good organizational skills and ability to work efficiently.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety procedures.
- Willingness to comply with all company safety policies and use required PPE.
