Job Summary:
Join our vibrant logistics team in San Jose, California, as a Receiving Clerk. This role is fundamental to our supply chain, focusing on the accurate and efficient processing of incoming goods. You will be responsible for inspecting shipments, verifying quantities, and entering data into our inventory system. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety are essential.
Responsibilities:

Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
Accurately enter receiving data into the warehouse management system (WMS).
Tag and label incoming inventory for proper storage.
Route received goods to the appropriate departments or storage locations.
Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE, and contribute to a safe work environment.
Communicate effectively with vendors, drivers, and internal departments regarding receiving issues.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a receiving, inventory, or warehouse role is strongly preferred.
Proficiency with computer systems and data entry.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Understanding of basic logistics and supply chain principles.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be willing to wear required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
