Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications using RF scanners.
- Verify picked items against order lists to ensure complete and correct orders.
- Pack items carefully into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for outgoing logistics.
- Stage packed orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and mandated PPE requirements.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Assist with inventory checks and other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Meet performance targets for picking and packing speed and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse roles is a plus.
- Ability to lift and maneuver items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Capacity to stand, walk, and be physically active for the duration of the shift.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices and the use of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Work Environment: This position is located in a bustling warehouse. Duties involve significant physical activity. Safety is paramount, and all employees must adhere to safety regulations and wear required PPE. The environment may experience temperature fluctuations.
