We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Provo, Utah. In this essential role, you will be the backbone of our order fulfillment process, ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment to our valued customers. Your daily tasks will include navigating our warehouse efficiently, accurately retrieving items based on order specifications, and meticulously packaging them for safe transit. We operate in a fast-paced environment where precision, speed, and a strong commitment to safety are paramount. You will work collaboratively with your colleagues to achieve daily targets and maintain the high standards of our operations. Adherence to all safety guidelines and the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are mandatory for this role. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations using order sheets or scanning devices.
- Verify that picked items match the order requirements, ensuring accuracy.
- Package products using appropriate materials to ensure safe delivery.
- Apply correct shipping labels and prepare packages for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment like pallet jacks as needed.
- Participate in inventory counts and help maintain stock accuracy.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and wearing required PPE.
- Meet established quotas for picking and packing efficiency and accuracy.
- Report any order discrepancies or warehouse issues to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Prior experience in a Picker/Packer, warehouse, or distribution environment is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Must be comfortable with frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices.
- Willingness to strictly adhere to all safety regulations and wear PPE.
