We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is crucial to our supply chain operations, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that keep our warehouse running smoothly. This includes receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, staging shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will work closely with other team members to meet daily operational goals and contribute to a positive and productive workplace culture. Attention to detail is paramount, as is the ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies and procedures. Your role directly impacts customer satisfaction and the overall success of our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations using appropriate equipment.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to order specifications.
- Stage outgoing shipments for transport, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.
- Adhere to all company policies, including those related to safety, security, and attendance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety vests and steel-toed boots.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards and best practices in all aspects of the job.
