*Healthy Smiles Family Dental* is a patient focused dental practice located in the heart of Bakersfield that provides general dentistry for adults and children. We are a single location practice that is deeply rooted in our community and have served Kern County for over 20 years. Our practice owner is a practicing dentist and also a resident of Bakersfield. *Job Summary:*
We are seeking a full or part time associate dentist to join our thriving dental practice. Our associate dentist will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our adult patients. Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus, but not necessary for the general dentistry that will be provided for this position.
*Duties:*
- Perform routine dental examinations, including oral cancer screenings and dental cleanings
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions, such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay
- Perform dental procedures, such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques
*Experience:*
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry
- Minimum 2 years of general dentistry preferred, but recent graduates welcome
*Compensation:*
-Associate dentist will receive a base pay of $900 per day or 30% of daily production, whichever is greater.
