This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit's Commercial Business Units ("Spirit Commercial"). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing's three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial's core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions.
Boeing-Wichita is seeking Entry-level Structural Design Engineers to join their team in Wichita, KS.
Responsibilities
Position Responsibilities: Apply knowledge of engineering and physical science principles, materials, and tools in a collaborative environment to develop, integrate, document and evaluate flight vehicle structure designs for performance, functional adequacy, cost effectiveness, manufacturability, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements Areas of expertise may include primary and secondary structure design, payloads design, weights, and lofting Qualifications
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited course of study in engineering or related discipline or will obtain one by June 30th, 2026 Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with CATIA Aerospace internship experience Aerospace co-op experience

Summary Pay Range: $68,000 - $85,000
