Senior Quality Analyst

Location: Market Drayton (Butter Plant)
Contract: Full Time/Permanent
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday (8am-4pm)

Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of quality assurance? At Müller, we are on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Senior Quality Analyst to join our Quality Department. In this role, you will drive quality performance through enhanced analysis, deep subject knowledge, and rigorous testing. Your contributions will help us continuously improve in line with Müller’s core values, while also supporting the development of our Laboratory Technicians and the Quality Management System.

As a Senior Quality Analyst, you will:

• Ensure laboratory tasks are completed on time and to the highest standards.
• Conduct all testing accurately and promptly, including trial work and annual surveillance testing.
• Perform daily calibrations and controls, investigating and resolving any issues that arise.
• Maintain an organized and tidy laboratory with a 'clean as you go' mindset.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring proper rotation.
• Effectively prioritize your workload to meet deadlines.
• Complete all documentation, both electronic and hard copies, in full.

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

• Competence in microbiological methods, including:
• Total Viable Count (Petrifilm)
• Enterobacteriaceae (Petrifilm)
• Previous laboratory experience in:
• Aseptic skills
• Auditing
• Lab safety
• NIR technology (FOSS)
• Equipment calibration and maintenance
• Laboratory Accreditation standards (e.g., CLAS)

While not essential, the following skills would be a plus:

• Pipetting skills
• HACCP Level 2
• In-depth knowledge of Microbiology and Dairy Chemistry
