Find your fit and your future. Our Sr. Analyst uses analytical methods and a variety of tools to improve Distribution and Logistics operations. You will be responsible for data management, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations that support not only D&L operations, but also how they work with all parts of the supply chain. You will build handle general assignments. You will provide and communicate recommendations to all levels of management. You will mentor Logistics Analysts in daily work tasks. Our Sr. Analyst is necessary to the operation through their identification, standardization and automation of information that will feed the Supply Chain partners as we try to increase efficiency across all processes. This role is central to the collection and reporting of vetted data and is critical to all internal and external partners by guiding teams through different interactions, from reoccurring meetings to forward-looking decision-making. Lead complex data analysis projects from launch to completion. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, offering technical support. Summarize findings into applicable recommendations for partners. Collaborate with internal and external partners to improve data collection methods and tools. Present analysis results and recommendations to senior management and partners. Improve efforts to enhance data quality, accuracy, and relevance. Be the subject matter expert on data analysis techniques, tools, and methodologies. Leadership: Take charge of technical and administrative tasks. Develop reports and track project progress across global regions. Maintain records, track results, and prepare reports Coordination: Coordinate logistics and distribution activities with internal and external customers. Status reports: Provide activity and status reports to Supply Chain management teams. Provide guidance to junior analysts. Business Analytics: Clarifies and resolves complex business issues by breaking them down into meaningful components to determine cause and redesigning internal and external business processes. Show originality and imagination in thinking while developing a solution to a problem. Project Completion: Assist DVR team in the completion of 85% of all annual goals within their shared timeframes. You will report to the Director, Logistics Control Tower and Data Integrity. You will work with all parts of Supply Chain Operations teams and Leadership. Education: The skills typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a related role with an emphasis on data analytics and report building technical skills. Advanced Skills in: Mini-Tab or other Statistical tools; SQL, Visual Basic, Python or other data acquisition and analysis tools. Project management experience. Experience with Six Sigma or other Process Improvement Methodology. Manage complex data analysis projects, providing guidance and mentorship to junior analysts. Communication and Collaboration: Collaborates with internal and external partners to improve data collection methods and tools, contributing to data-driven decision-making processes. Improve efforts to enhance data quality, accuracy, and relevance, being a subject matter expert on data analysis techniques. Present analysis results and recommendations to senior management and partners, facilitating informed decision-making processes. Summarize findings into applicable recommendations for partners. This is a hybrid position based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. We expect you in office 3 days per week, typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on our needs. The expected starting salary range for this role is $92,000- $135,000 per year. We may pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. We will base the amount a employee will earn within the salary range on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and our needs. Levi Strauss & Co.
