Job Title:
System Engineer

What's the Job?
Manage and implement end-to-end Linux-based infrastructure supporting core components such as databases, GRID computing, and enterprise job schedulers.
Support and monitor application infrastructure and various internal core components, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
Proactively address application issues on supported infrastructures, fixing problems before they impact users.
Assist with release management, troubleshooting, incident and problem management, and infrastructure upgrades.
Support migration projects related to servers, Active Directory, datacenter, and application upgrades, including occasional weekend support on rotation.
What's Needed?
Extensive experience with Linux OS internals and operational OS skills.
Proficiency in handling IT infrastructure scheduled maintenance and core environment monitoring.
Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to connect complex infrastructure issues quickly and efficiently.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Perl.
Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace and Splunk is a plus.
