Introduction
In this role, you will provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal IT Helpdesk. You will be responsible for administration and internal support of the Company's PCs, printers, servers, and related equipment. Training and reinforcement of staff usage of new and existing technology and solutions will also be emphasized. In addition to training, tasks include end user support, license tracking, and performing PC maintenance, upgrades and configurations.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user's satisfaction
- Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for local workstations
- Assist with onboarding of new users
- Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software
- Assign users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory
- Help develop procedures for the use of new technology
Job Requirements
- High school diploma and working toward IT related degree, or
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, and
- 1 year of relevant work experience.
