We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team in Boise, Idaho. This role is essential for the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring that all goods are handled efficiently and safely. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, from receiving and storing products to preparing orders for shipment, all within a dynamic logistics setting.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Sort and store inventory in designated warehouse locations, optimizing space and accessibility.
- Pick and prepare items for outbound shipment according to order specifications.
- Operate manual and powered warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts - training available) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company policies and Safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks to ensure accuracy.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring proper securing and handling.
- Wear and correctly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform tasks involving regular Lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and support colleagues in meeting operational goals within the logistics chain.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks, including significant Lifting.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following instructions carefully.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
