We are seeking a diligent and motivated Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic team in Durham, North Carolina. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods from receipt to shipment. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks that keep our logistics flowing smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory with accuracy and care.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly packaged.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all warehouse safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, and Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
