Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against documentation.
- Stock shelves and storage locations with incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick products based on order lists for shipment.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors, safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the distribution center.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct and consistent use of PPE.
- Perform regular inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy and assist with stock management.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics operations.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and safety awareness.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical duties, including regular Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety principles and the critical role of PPE.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills for coordination within the logistics team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as operational needs dictate.
- A proactive approach to safety and operational excellence in a fast-paced logistics setting.
