We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage operations at our Orlando, Florida facility. This critical role ensures the efficient and organized flow of inventory and products within our logistics network. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for supervising warehouse staff, managing inventory levels, coordinating shipments, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management best practices. Your role is pivotal in optimizing our supply chain and ensuring customer satisfaction. We are deeply committed to the safety of our employees, and strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is expected.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Manage and train warehouse personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring accuracy, implementing cycle counts, and minimizing discrepancies.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, working with carriers and suppliers to schedule deliveries and pickups.
- Implement and enforce all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to Safety and operational standards.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities, arranging for repairs and upkeep as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement in logistics operations.
- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of all warehouse equipment and ensure staff adherence to PPE guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or coordination, with a strong background in logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workplace Safety.
