We are seeking motivated and reliable Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Washington, D.C. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring that orders are accurately fulfilled and prepared for shipment. Your responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets and packing them securely and efficiently for delivery. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Inspect picked items for damage or discrepancies.
- Pack items securely into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Basic math skills for inventory purposes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks including frequent bending, standing, and walking.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
