Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team in Denver, Colorado. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular cycle counts, and resolving discrepancies to ensure the integrity of our warehouse stock. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our distribution center and directly impacts our ability to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately. You will work closely with receiving, shipping, and operations departments to implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of inventory.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify slow-moving or obsolete stock.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure accurate stock placement.
  • Analyze inventory data and provide reports on stock accuracy and trends.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory items.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Participate in physical inventory audits as required.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
  • Proficiency in WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols in a warehouse environment is essential.
