We are looking for a dynamic Warehouse Coordinator to oversee daily operations at our facility in Nashville, Tennessee. This pivotal role involves managing inventory, coordinating the movement of goods, and ensuring the efficient flow of our logistics processes. The Warehouse Coordinator will supervise warehouse staff, manage shipping and receiving schedules, and maintain optimal stock levels. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems and procedures. You will be responsible for implementing safety protocols, conducting regular audits, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. The ability to handle various tasks, including some physical lifting, is expected. We are committed to fostering a safe and productive workplace, providing necessary PPE and thorough training. Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
- Manage and train warehouse staff, providing clear direction and feedback.
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with PPE usage.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements.
- Manage the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment.
- Resolve operational issues and discrepancies promptly.
- Perform duties including lifting and moving inventory as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or coordination.
- Strong understanding of logistics, inventory control, and supply chain principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours if needed.
