Are you an experienced and certified Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Denver, Colorado? We are looking for a skilled individual to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery to move, locate, replenish, and stage products. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth flow of goods within our busy distribution center. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe and efficient forklift operation, a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures, and the ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will be responsible for inspecting equipment before use, ensuring it is in good working order, and adhering to all safety regulations. This position involves significant physical activity and requires the ability to perform lifting tasks. We prioritize safety above all else and provide extensive training and all necessary PPE. Your role is critical in ensuring that materials are handled correctly and efficiently, contributing to overall operational success. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Pick and stage orders for shipment.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles are clear.
- Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Use appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, including lifting and moving items manually when necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of forklift operating experience.
- Proven knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory control is a plus.
