This is a versatile role where you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. Your contribution is vital to ensuring the efficient flow of goods and maintaining the integrity of our inventory. We are looking for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety. You will work as part of a dedicated team, contributing to the overall success of our distribution efforts. Safety is our highest priority, and all associates must strictly adhere to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe lifting practices. The ideal candidate is reliable, adaptable, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with warehouse equipment and a basic understanding of logistics principles are a plus. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and grow within the logistics industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock merchandise accurately into designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders with speed and accuracy.
- Prepare items for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely (training provided where applicable).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals within the logistics framework.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not required; we provide training.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Capacity for lifting materials up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
- Understanding of safety standards and the importance of PPE.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
