Join our dynamic warehouse as a Picker/Packer in Fort Worth, Texas! We are seeking efficient and meticulous individuals to accurately select and pack orders for shipment. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, identifying products, and preparing them for dispatch with speed and precision. Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety are essential qualities we are looking for. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to pick lists or order forms.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, using appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Operate scanning devices to track inventory movements and order status.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of new inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Contribute to meeting daily picking and packing quotas.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the logistics team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is desirable.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for the duration of the shift.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the correct use of PPE.
- Fast learner and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
