Job Summary:
Join our state-of-the-art distribution center in San Antonio, Texas, as a Distribution Center Associate. This multifaceted role is essential to the smooth operation of our logistics network. You will engage in various tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of products. We are looking for individuals who are energetic, dependable, and dedicated to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Your commitment to quality and accuracy is paramount. We emphasize Safety and provide comprehensive training, including the mandatory use of PPE.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Sort and stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
  • Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
  • Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, safely.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the distribution center to ensure Safety.
  • Adhere to all company policies and Safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Assist with inventory control activities, such as cycle counts and stock takes.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the logistics department.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is a plus.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Safety and proactive hazard identification.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
