Job Summary:
We have an opening for a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk at our San Antonio, Texas warehouse. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of all inbound shipments. This includes unloading, verifying, inspecting, and documenting incoming inventory. Maintaining a safe work environment through adherence to safety protocols and proper use of PPE is paramount. If you have a keen eye for detail and experience in handling shipments, we encourage you to apply and become an essential part of our logistics chain.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
  • Verify the accuracy of incoming inventory against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Inspect all received items for damage, defects, or shortages.
  • Accurately record and document all incoming shipment details.
  • Prepare goods for internal distribution or storage.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other relevant equipment safely.
  • Ensure the receiving area is kept clean, organized, and safe.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams regarding delivery discrepancies.
  • Strictly follow all safety guidelines and utilize required PPE.
  • Contribute to the efficiency of our overall logistics operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in receiving, logistics, or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with warehouse software and documentation.
  • Understanding of supply chain and logistics principles.
  • Dedication to safety and compliance with PPE standards.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
