We are seeking a diligent and reliable Distribution Center Associate for our facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is essential to our supply chain, ensuring that goods are handled efficiently and accurately. You will be involved in a range of activities, including receiving, stocking, order picking, and preparing items for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors.
- Pick, pack, and sort orders according to specifications.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular checks and proper handling.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and procedures diligently.
- Properly use all required PPE to ensure personal and team safety.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily operational goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Capability to perform tasks involving sustained physical activity.
- Must be able to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with basic Logistics and inventory management principles.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to company policies.
