We are seeking dedicated Picker/Packers to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders and efficiently packing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and commitment to productivity are essential for our warehouse operations. This position is key to fulfilling customer orders accurately and on time, directly impacting our Logistics performance.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify the correct items and quantities for each order.
- Inspect items for any defects or damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ).
- Perform other warehouse tasks as assigned, such as replenishing stock or assisting with general organization.
- Meet established performance metrics for picking and packing speed and accuracy.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of our warehouse Logistics .
Qualifications:
Previous experience in picking and packing is beneficial but not required. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Must be able to perform moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs). A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. Understanding of basic warehouse procedures is helpful. Strong commitment to workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE . Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
