We are seeking motivated and reliable Picker/Packers to join our dynamic team in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Picker/Packer, you will be an essential part of our logistics operations, ensuring that orders are accurately fulfilled and prepared for shipment. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. You will be responsible for picking items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications and carefully packing them for transit. This position is critical to our supply chain success.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring they are protected during shipping.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as restocking or cycle counting.
- Meet performance expectations for picking and packing speed and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse or fulfillment experience is a plus, but not required. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Must be able to perform moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs). A strong understanding of warehouse Logistics and inventory management is beneficial. Commitment to workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE . Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must be reliable and punctual.
