Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is critical to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of inventory management principles, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and efficiency. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, managing stock adjustments, and ensuring that all inventory data is accurate and up-to-date in our Warehouse Management System (WMS). This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Attention to detail is paramount as you will be handling sensitive data related to high-value goods. Your efforts will directly impact our supply chain's effectiveness. We expect candidates to be comfortable with physical tasks related to inventory, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs. Adherence to all Safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ) is mandatory. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within the Logistics industry. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Manage and process stock adjustments and transfers.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
  • Identify and report slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Safety regulations and company policies.
  • Utilize required PPE at all times.
  • Support Logistics operations through precise inventory management.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed, including occasional Lifting .

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a related field.
  • Familiarity with WMS and inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of Safety procedures and PPE .
  • Understanding of Logistics principles is a plus.
