We are seeking a dynamic and organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our growing team in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow, and managing a team of warehouse associates. This role is critical to maintaining the smooth functioning of our logistics network. You will be involved in scheduling, inventory management, and coordinating shipments to meet delivery deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and ensure accuracy.
- Oversee the receiving and dispatching of goods, ensuring timely processing.
- Implement and enforce warehouse policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, when necessary and properly trained.
- Coordinate with transportation and delivery services to ensure efficient Logistics.
- Train new employees on warehouse operations, safety protocols, and the proper use of PPE.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that arise.
- Assist with budget management and cost control measures within the warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or a similar role.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management software.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and the ability to enforce them.
- Experience with Logistics and supply chain management is a plus.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with required PPE.
