Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated warehouse locations.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Use handheld scanners and other technology to manage inventory and order statuses.
- Verify order details against picked and packed items.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to achieve daily production goals.
- Perform other warehouse support tasks as needed within the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform consistent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.
This position involves significant physical activity, including bending, reaching, and lifting. We maintain a strong focus on safety, and the correct usage of PPE is mandatory at all times. Experience with logistics workflows within a distribution setting is advantageous. Your dedication to accuracy and efficiency will be highly valued.
