Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Portland, Oregon. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. This role is crucial to our supply chain operations, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, utilizing handheld scanners and other equipment to locate and retrieve items from designated pick locations. Attention to detail is paramount to minimize errors and maintain customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
  • Use RF scanners to track inventory and order progress.
  • Package items securely for shipment, ensuring no damage occurs during transit.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all warehouse protocols.
  • Safely operate manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily targets.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Participate in regular inventory counts and stock checks.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or orders to supervisors promptly.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and efficient logistics practices.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic reading and comprehension skills.
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures.
  • Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety shoes and vests.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
