- Receiving and unloading materials from incoming shipments.
- Transporting materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Organizing and stocking inventory efficiently.
- Using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials.
- Assisting with inventory control and cycle counting.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Properly handling and storing materials to prevent damage.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts, is strongly preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and understanding of safety protocols.
- Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
- Attention to detail in handling and storing materials.
