We are looking for a skilled and reliable Shipping & Receiving Associate to manage the flow of goods in our busy Austin, Texas distribution center. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of all incoming and outgoing shipments. Your duties will include unloading trucks, verifying packing slips against received goods, inspecting items for damage, and stocking inventory. For outgoing shipments, you will accurately pick and pack orders, prepare shipping labels, and arrange for carrier pickup, ensuring all logistics are managed seamlessly. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management principles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role and possess excellent organizational skills. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, bending, and operating pallet jacks or other material handling equipment. Adherence to all workplace safety regulations, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is non-negotiable.
