Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory levels at our Miami, Florida facility. This role is critical for optimizing warehouse operations and ensuring the integrity of our supply chain. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, implementing inventory control procedures, and managing stock rotation. Your expertise will directly contribute to reducing stockouts, minimizing waste, and improving overall efficiency within our logistics network. This is a key position for those passionate about precision in inventory management.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Manage stock rotation (e.g., FIFO/LIFO) to minimize obsolescence.
  • Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments to purchasing or production.
  • Ensure accurate recording of all inventory movements in the WMS.
  • Train and guide warehouse staff on proper inventory handling and tracking.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including purchasing and sales, on inventory matters.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper use of PPE.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software (WMS, ERP).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret data and generate insightful reports.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including Lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety and the importance of PPE.
