We are hiring a Fulfillment Associate for our Kansas City, Missouri distribution center. This role is essential for ensuring efficient order processing and timely delivery of products to our customers. The Fulfillment Associate will handle tasks such as receiving goods, putting away inventory, picking customer orders, packing items securely, and preparing them for shipment. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and a dedication to accuracy are key. This position offers a great chance to be part of a growing logistics operation and make a tangible impact.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify incoming shipments, checking for accuracy and damage.
- Put away received inventory into designated storage locations.
- Pick customer orders accurately using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack orders with appropriate materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and manifest creation.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent record-keeping and cycle counts.
- Operate various warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Contribute to a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a fulfillment or warehouse role preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job, including Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Awareness of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and system navigation.
- Familiarity with logistics processes is beneficial.
