Join our fast-paced warehouse team as an Order Picker in Seattle, Washington! In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your efficiency and accuracy are critical to our logistics success and customer satisfaction. You'll work within our inventory system, using pick lists to gather items for packing and shipment. We maintain a strong focus on safety, and all team members must adhere to rigorous safety protocols, including the mandated use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This role involves significant walking and reaching, as well as the ability to perform regular lifting of items up to 40 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order specifications.
- Use hand-held scanners or pick sheets to locate items.
- Transport picked items to the packing station.
- Maintain an organized and efficient workstation.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy targets.
- Identify and report any discrepancies in inventory or orders.
- Contribute to a clean and safe warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capacity for frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse technology is a plus.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and wear PPE.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Team player mentality.
