Job Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Forklift Operator at our state-of-the-art facility in Seattle, Washington. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of our warehouse operations and ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our logistics network. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials. A deep understanding of warehouse procedures and a strong commitment to workplace Safety are critical. We provide comprehensive training and all required PPE . This position involves significant Lifting and requires precision and care in handling goods within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach) to move inventory within the warehouse.
  • Load and unload trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement of cargo.
  • Transport materials to and from designated areas, such as production lines or shipping docks.
  • Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any defects or maintenance needs.
  • Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures, including traffic management within the warehouse.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements as required.
  • Wear and properly utilize all assigned PPE , including safety shoes, vests, and gloves.
  • Collaborate with warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
  • Valid forklift certification and a strong understanding of safe operating practices.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of warehouse layouts and logistics operations.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial judgment.
  • Commitment to adhering to all Safety regulations and maintaining a high level of awareness.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
