In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately picking orders and meticulously packing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Inspect products for damage and ensure quality before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, utilizing appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment, ensuring all necessary information is present.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory and order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing environment is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable with lifting up to 30-50 lbs throughout your shift.
- Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and gloves.
- Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Must be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
