Job Summary:
Our busy logistics facility in San Jose, California, is seeking an efficient and accurate Order Picker. This critical role involves retrieving specific items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your precision and speed are essential for maintaining our high standards of order fulfillment and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses excellent stamina, and is committed to a safe working environment. As an Order Picker, you are at the heart of our shipping operations, directly impacting the success of our logistics network. Strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE, is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick specified items from warehouse locations using pick lists or scanning devices.
  • Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
  • Transport picked items to the packing station efficiently.
  • Maintain productivity targets and quality standards.
  • Operate warehouse equipment like pallet jacks and potentially order pickers safely.
  • Keep picking areas clean, organized, and free from obstructions.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and wear the required PPE.
  • Report any stock discrepancies or equipment issues to management.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse picking role is preferred.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Capacity for frequent lifting of items, typically up to 30-40 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to follow instructions.
